What's included?

We offer 1:1 consultations. We come to you to briefly discuss the issues you are having, and then get right to work. We show you the difference that can be made and then teach you how to achieve the same. No Skype, no paperwork, we get to work right away, empowering you with greater knowledge. We can help with:

  • Aggression
  • Over-excitement
  • Lead Training
  • House Training
  • Excessive Barking
  • Separation Anxiety

As well as working privately, Pat works with charities across the country, specialising with the worst of the worst. In our experience, no dog is too difficult to help. Pat truly is a dogs best friend.

Of course, no problems are ever the same, so we cater to you and your needs by guiding and teaching you to your own specification. We teach you to take control.

Pricing

£120 for an initial session

£100 - £200 for a 2 hour session (approx)

There's no fixed pricing for our behaviour training services after the initial session.

BOOKING

How to book

To book behavioural help, we always like to speak over the phone to find out more about the issues you are having. We can sometimes give free advice over the phone for minor issues.

Bookings for behaviour training consultations CANNOT be made through the app. The quickest and easiest way to book would be to speak over the phone.

To book, please contact us on:

local_phone (+44) (0) 7975 540587

Alternatively, leave us a message via e-mail or Facebook and we'll get back to you. More info on our contact page.

Important notes

All issues differ with each individual dog, therefore, it's impossible to determine an exact price over the phone until we can assess the issue properly.

To get the most accurate analysis, we'd need to discuss the problems in depth over the phone. The next step would then be to meet in person in order to see the dog in their normal, preferred environment and go from there.

Trainer or Behaviorist?

Trainers and Behaviorists are quite different from one another. At Mill's Mutts, we recommend the following points when looking for a Behaviorist or Trainer:

Behaviorists are used to help you with, you guessed it, a dog's behaviour - things such as excitement, anxiety, aggression etc.

Trainers are recommended for things such as agility, basic commands and other types of stimulation for your dog.

When choosing a behaviorist, we also advise that you make sure the professional comes out to you and you avoid a consultation over Skype or via phone call. It should be practical and not just chit-chat.

NOTE: With behavioural problems, it is impossible to rehabilitate by dealing with just one issue as there are many factors that contribute. For this reason, it is impossible to give rehabilitation advice by email or phone.
